Romeo and Juliet- Opening Sequence

This film is in the genres crime/drama/romance/thriller.

I Like this shot because it introduces the story in an intelligent way. It starts from a far distance and zooms in as the story gets more intense. It would be easy for me to re-create this shot, however I would not be able to get hold of an old tv like this one very easily.
This shot is clever because it shows the two different sides of the love but has the statue of jesus in between, this tells the audience that religion is in between the relationship. It has a close up shot of the statue of jesus then zooms out to this shot, this tells me that religion is obviously an important factor in this film. However, it would not be easy to reconstruct this scene.
This shot of a newspaper article gives the audience a deeper insight on the story. I would be able to re-create this shot quite easily and it is quite a good idea to include to introduce the story.
This is a high-angle shot of the city. This clip sets the scene and gives the audience a clearer insight of the location. I would not be able to reconstruct this shot because I would have to go in a helicopter and organize another helicopter to pass by to achieve the same amazing shot.
This is another news paper shot showing another part of the story. This article title is tricky to understand  but it makes you want to watch on because you get intrigued. Here they have used a close-up shot focusing on the title.
I really like this close-up shot because it introduces the characters in a simple but effective way. They use a close-up shot of each character doing something then freeze frame one of their actions and use text to explain who they are. I would like to recreate these shots in my opening sequence.
